Over the last year everything is costing me 20-25% more, but my pay is the same. Things like electricty, heating, gas, food, etc. have all gone up.
Here on this site, there are people from all around the world.
Where you live, have prices gone up like this? or maybe down?
Less money means less important things like buying that rare cpu. |

that's why i lost about 8 KG last year
When I was living in the UK the cost of literary everything was skyrocketing, guess it was all because of the petrol prices going up. I wonder if anything'll become any cheaper now that petrol prices are falling. _________________ Power without the price. |

I'd say an 11-20% average for me, in France:
Gasoil +40%
Energies +15-20%
Food +10-20%
CPU +25-50%
Always too much. _________________ My microprocessor collection: The Gecko's CPU Library |

esp. energy and food raised much last year.
Last month I got an offer from my local gas supplier (gas for heating) which I pay actually 171 Euro per month. When I built the house in 1996 I started with 115 DM what is about 60 Euro.
The offer was: Pay additional 44 Euro per month (so 171 plus 44 Euro) and be sure to get the same price per kWh until December 2009.
The marketing brochure was done pretty well but based on the actual price they ask for almost 25% more money! Of course noone knows what the price will be but this kind of playing with customers fear is offending to me.
...Milk, cheese, ham, bread, ...
It's a shame. _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |

about 25% overall.
Most food has went way up (do to using food crops for fuels)
Food inflation is 'hid' by reducung the sizes in stores.
a half gallon of ice cream is now only 1.5 quarts etc (but no change o the price) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
