|
|
I remember some tools for testing computers performance under Windows in order to get a measure of performance of CPU operations and floating point operations (MFLOPS). Some other tools obtain tests with I/O capabilities and so on.
Do you know a tool we can use for testing CPUs and to obtain a CPU measure without Windows (DOS or Linux boot) ?

I would like to complete a Database of tests for many old CPUs I have. Obviously able to test, with a motherboard, RAM and floppy to boot from and to complete some tests.
I am investigating some tools about this.
Thanks for cooperation

I used Whetstone, Dhrystone and Linpack DOS programs to test my processors. They should run on 80368 and newer processors. If you're interested I can send executables to you. I'm also considering using Bytemark for DOS:
