White chips on Black background and Black ones on White.
That's easy. |

Depends on the chip and what mood I am/was in. I', sure I scanned some chips with a red background, just because it seemed like a fun idea at the time _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I usually just scan them and dont worry about the backround, but since i usually dont have a bunch of lights blaring towards the scanner they usually come out with a black backround. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Hehe
When I started to scan my chips I decide to use:
green background for common chips
yellow for uncommon
red for rare ones
I considered it's good idea for my website perspicuity.
But latter I forgot about it. It's not so easy to resort exactly... and to make scans at all.
Now I think over the background sometimes for better contrast using Johnorun's rule. _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729
