Personally I dont like the snake oil selling tactics. Quite often he makes up a lot of lies and bullshit about the item he is selling.
I also dont like the seller. He is very unpleasant and rude when you tell him there is a problem with a listing. So, as it has been said before, if you dont like the prices or the person, dont buy. So I dont. And I am only mentioning this because this thread came up.

the am2901 auctions i tracked are
#1 item no 190139453107:382 USD=>2007-8-19=>m***d(46) not a registered user
#2 item no 190156047975:80 USD=>me
#3 item no 190175149150:143 USD=>2007-11-25=>t***t(100)
#4 item no 190197629800:180 USD =>2008-2-17 =>t***t(100)
#5 item X 104 USD 2008-4-27
#6 item no 380063942671:133 USD=> 2008-9-21=>c***t(1474)
the interval is about 3 month (#1 and #2 are the same auction )
so you might get your chance in late Nov or early Dec
item no 190139453107 which ended in 382 USD
is suspected to be involved with shill bid
the bidder list
is
m***d(41) 382.77
l***c(1013) 377.77
n***o(19) 234.6
r***m(421) 30
p***t(991) 19
p***t(991) is topgold and shill bid is suspected here
but it doesnt influence the outcome of the 382 USD auction
this 382 USD auction is probably not completed
because the winner
m***d(41) (46 later) was became a nonregistered user one month later probably because of being reported to be nonpaying bidder.
during that time ,he overbid me near a dosen times and i got so many 2nd offer due to different seller told me the winner didnt pay... |

from my observation , shill bids (topgold bid ) were only found in the very early stage of the auction from this seller.
probably,when his feedback is less than 10 or 20.
no suspicious bid recently |

I question rare-chips-4-u's reliability. I bid on what looks like the same NexGen CPU last month only to be sniped at literally the last second. Yet here it is again. |

I have won more than a few items from him by sniping and hes has always delivered. He does tend to spread the B.S. around a bit thick in his descriptions alot. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

the seller is lazy
he use stock picture for his auction
take the am2901 as example
all the am2901 auction's picture
is the one i have
so you will see the same nexgen picture in following months again |
