Hi!

I have now opened the site where g0b:s sale are planned to be hold if all goes well.

No idea if this will work so i want you to test it out. Make some fake auctions in the test category, or actually sell some stuff! At the moment the site is prepared for g0b:s sale but if all goes well we can continue to use it and re-arrange the categories and re-add some fields that are currently hidden (adress, city and such)

Check it out here http://www.chipdb.org/forsale/

Edit *The auction site has no relation to the chipdb.org site when it comes to user accounts. They are using two completely different databases. So you have to create a new account.

Please give feedback in this thread.

If the site is not accessible from China add the following row in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

206.123.89.177 www.chipdb.org

looks realy good!! and easy,
a small ebay only for chips, perfect.
we should realy think about it to replace ebay with a private auction-house.
ebay was great years ago, but today we have no more category for old cpus. a few month ago there was a seperate category at the cpus "other".
no more today, so you have to search through a jungle of cpus and other shit to find sth. interesting.
your auction idea is great for buyer of chips, and perfect easy for sellers.

Thanks! Perhaps it will not replace eBay but be an alternative. If the forum likes it, it will stay. As i write in the confirmation, its a free software with all that comes with it. It seems to have its fair bits of bugs and security issues, so we might have to hide it behind a password protected page so only members are allowed in. But lets try it out first!

It's really good. Great job indeed.
Epay was born to help selling collectible items, and in early years it was a very good website, now it is only an online market for merchants (who do not want to pay taxes).
CLAP CLAP CLAP Very Happy
