So what is the likelihood of Intel producing two Gold Top SX835 Pentium 60s with the same numbers on top and bottom.

Same plant, same week, same lot. It's not rare but uncommon enouth to lead some collectors to keep them both.

yeah, happens from time to time. Usually when you can get your hands on a factory tray. Sometimes the chips have all the same numbers, so I can only assume its from the same wafer.

Thank you for the information.
I was a very suppressed when I opened up the package and found that they had matching numbers. The company I bought them from did almost too good of a job cleaning them up before they sent them to me. It totally start to make me think that they could have been fakes.

how could you image a fake of P60 GOLD? probaly been faked from a P50 LOL?

Yeah they seem in very good condition, nice pieces Smile
(the original Pentium 60 with "Processor" markings is a nice add to any collection)

I really don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. lol I guess I should not be spending so much time on here while I am at work.

I was very surprised. I went back that night to see if the other two were still for sale, but someone got to them first.
