Yes we CAN!

Imagine McCain dead and Palin taking over... who was speaking of worst case scenario?

A lot of persons I know felt relieved to know that Obama won, so did I.

As long as world wealth distribution is not suitable for everybody, they will be armed conflicts. Unfortunately Sad

I don't know how the situation was in other countries but in France, people (media?) were 200% pro Obama. This guy has a lot of similarities with our President. IMHO I think a lot of people don't like how the world evolve and want some changes for this new century.

SarkoBarak?

Sounds like a new washing machine powder...

I guess Obama needs a wife with a CD published, otherwise she'll feel uncomfortable with Carla Smile

LMAO

I'm so glad I don't follow politics. I don't even discuss my own beliefs very often, politics is the best way to lose a good friend Smile

I agree-- Laughing

Both are very different from the leaders they replaced and they both have multi-national ancestry.
We will see what happens in the months ahead. I just hope it's better than now!

I'd need to be a native American to really understand being a democrat or a republican.

But the idea, the feeling that was transported to the world outside america was that there is much more chance to get politicians from all countries together - and that's what is interesting for the non-us-world - to solve or better to get a chance to solve some of the actual worldwide problems.

As sometimes the wish is the father of the thought that effect made most non-us political interested hope Obama wins.

So me.

Now he must pay attentions not to drown in expectations.
And he must pay more attention than McCain not to be murdered by us racists or terrorists as he is the much more polarizing figure of both.

My respect goes to McCain who's speech Tuesday evening when he calmed down the crowd and spoke about "his president" was very impressive.
I wish we had such an outpolled character in Germany.

Anyhow, God bless america, I like your country:-)
