Anything with more than 14 pins is a "CPU" to some people.
"Vintage microprocessor chips made by . . . Tandy"???

I have tried to give this guy info but he has never taken it so I gave up along time ago. But I do love to see some of his "rare" chips go for $5.00
I think it anyone else was selling this stuff it would be going for 2-4X as much but since so many collectors cant stand him they get low balled...now some stuff does command a high price from time to time but most of it doesnt.
Everytime I read his descriptions I cringe..."this is what collectors pay all the money for" seriously makes me want to punch him....no seriously.
The Lockheed chip is SRAM. |

| The SRAM went for 62.00!!!In my opinion it's the Lockheed Martin naming that caused this because much nicer chips from this same family have been going for around 25.00 but they just werent labeled Lockheed Martin. |

Bottom line... he's selling and someone is buying.
If it works for you then I wouldn't change a thing.
Look at the "free" publicity he gets here.
It's obvious that the person is not a collector.
They've found a niche and capitalized on it. Who's the real "knob's"? _________________ The two most common elements on Earth are oxygen and stupidity. |

His advertising is bogus i admit, but you also have to admit he sells some pretty interesting chips. I have bought many chips from him in the past and never had any trouble. Altho i do wonder how he thinks some of these are engineering samples and stuff. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |
