P4 broken pin :(

k guys, i got this p4 chip - 2.8ghz 512kb 800mhz fsb(200) blah blah blah...
SL6WJ MALAY is the serial n the other "Malay" i have no idea what that is lol

k so i got this broken pin on it n i wanna know if it will still work without it

its 3 down and 4 to the right is the pin missing, this is when the golden triangle is at the bottum right, i unno if this info is anyhelp, i need to find a diagram and upload it onto here but i dont know how to

the simplest way to find it out.

put the processor in the socket, turn on the powerswitch and see what´s going on

well the thing is i dont have a p4 board, but i plan on going to my friends house soon which is like 200km-125miles away

basically if it works, then it works and if it doesnt then it doesnt kind of thing

If yes - missed pin is AD23 = Vss.
P4 has a lot of Vss pins Smile So it must work w/o several of them. (if there are no any other problem).

srry for the late reply, i was out Smile, by me knowledge there are no other problems with it, i accidently put it in my pocket and when i took it out, the pins were bent, so i straightened them back up with my special perfect size socket handler, buh i broke one of the pins off Sad, so i suppose if it works, then i have a 50 dollor profit from my friend im giving it to, so i have u thank Smile. ill reply tommorow, since plans have changed and im going to this house tommorow morning. thankz again:)
