Can any of you guys lend me a list of win 32 compatible processors (cpu)??
It's a homework for university and I just can't find every one of them...

Hey...I'm new to this forums and this topic.....I would appreciate it if somebody could help me out with this one....

Note: I already have Intel, AMD and the Alpha processors...

You can add to the list other x86 processors: Cyrix 5x86, 6x86 (M1), 6x86MX (MII), VIA C3, IDT Winchip C6 and Winchip 2, Rise MP6, and Nexgen Nx586. Now, if you include "Windows CE" into "win32" the the list of processors will be much bigger.

could add Transmeta CPUs aas, well, they codemorph x86 and run it.

as well as the tI 486 series, the IBM and ST clones of Cyrix chips.

ALI and SiS also make embedded x86 CPUs.

Harris, Fujitsu, Siemens, IBM, Intersil, MHS, NEC, OKi, all made clones of the 8086

UMC made 486 CPUs.
