I will check the datasheet, but I think that 5 MHz is correct. The 80287 runs at 1/3 of external frequency. The 80286 runs at 1/2 of external frequency. If external frequency is 16 MHz, then the CPU will run at 8 MHz and the FPU will run at 5.333 MHz.
