Cpu upgrade help

Hi Guys:

I have a quick question, I have a gigabyte mb with a

Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz
FSB: 1066MHz
4M shared L2 Cache


If I buy the CPU below will this make much of a difference in my fsx, thanks so much for the help.


Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache
FSB: 1333MHz
L2 Cache: 12MB

By "fsx", did you mean FSB?

Yup, I knew FSX was a flight simulator, but you never know what's on a person's mind + typos on one of these sites. Hence the question. Idea Question

Throw me in with the group that says the GPU is the most important here, based on the performance of your current CPU.
