Does anyone recognize this chip?
It wrote "IBM 486 SLC" on the main board but it looks like 386.
And nothing in the back |

| It uses 386SX pinout but has 486SX instructions + 16KB L1 cache. Overprinted FRU number 50G6950 is 486SLC2-50. I have no info what 63G9228 is. |

I got some information from this page.

The pictures show that IBM 486 SLC/2-50 is 50G6950 and SLC/2-66 is 50G6663.
But mine is 63G9228  |

I have an Alaris board with overprinted 50G6950.
But mine is FRU 33G0395. Boards frequency synthesizer is hardwired to 33MHz FSB. I guess this makes the 33G0395 also 486SLC2-66. I wonder, what this overprinting thing is. Factory overclocking? |
