It will run slightly faster.

Your laptop wont have compatibility issues at all.

CL2, CL2.5 and CL3 are all latency settings, the lower the latency the faster the RAM replies per clock cycle.

Good!

Thank you a lot for the answer.
I need to revive my pentium 3 600, with 128 of ram it gets too slow.

Before you ask I have a desktop with a core 2 duo, but I like the laptop ^^

Bye

um, I thought half values of CL were only possible with DDR memory?

PC133 modules are single data rate, which are typically CL2 or CL3, but not CL2.5.

I'm pretty sure it comes from ebay. When I was looking for that kind of ram I saw many CL 2.5.

You damn know how precise things can be on ebay, not to mention EX samples Wink

With those mistakes sellers just get costumers more confused.

WHAT!?!?!? Mistakes and/or lies on eBay?? Well I never. I thought the times I got ripped off were MY fault. Surely all ebay sellers are good - honest folks, out to give everyone the deal of a lifetime........... icon_censored icon_fingersw icon_chainsaw
