Nice boards man. Keep them intact!

The HP chip should be a PA-RISC 7100 or 7150, up to 100 or 125 MHz. If you find something more thanks to the board part number please let us know Smile

WOW--more nice boards--and with one of my favorite chips, HP PA-RISC (7100?)!
I can't believe all these were in the trash. Scrappers would pay nicely for this kind of material....
In the meantime, enjoy the treasure hunting, Neon. Shocked

all the scrap merchants have closed their doors to the public in Perth, cos the metal prices have gone to shit. So your choice is store it or throw it at the moment Shocked

I was horrified to recognize the number on the right.

It is the phone number of that hot girl from the accounting department in HP Singapore's packaging testing facility.

The only thing horrifying, Neon, is that on HP PA_RISC chips, those labels are essential to identify the chip type... Rolling Eyes
For some reason, HP didn't print the part numbers directly on these awesome chips-just used labels.

icon_no is my comment to this Razz
The stickers on PA-RISCs make it easy
to identify them and give the typical HP-feeling Wink
Removing this labels is like rubbing off the essential
printing on any other chip.
Also a destruction of the original condition... Sad
But I sometimes do the same: IBM RS64-II or
Power3 look so boring with their heatspreaders
that I decided to take them off. Now showing the
full beauty. It`s always a matter of taste. If you
like the chip more without stickers I`m fine with that Smile
BTW I just noticed the handwritten stuff shows nearly
the same like the labels, so at least you can identify
it still very well Wink
