I will check out Lexulous. Have already registered with the online International Scrabble Club, worth checking out if you are a regular player (there are some times that are better than others, of course, but you can get some good games if you get the timing right).

Some people clearly use word builders, but I dont mind, you get some funky words. Do try that new design on facebook.. you actually have 8 tiles as well. So bingos are easier to come by. Personally I find the game flows better and is more enjoyable ( unless you get a rack made up of I I I U U O I O ) The only snag is people stop playing just as you get into it.. so be prepared to have lots of games open. After a while you get a couple people you play against a few times.

LOL, I know what you mean with letters like that. I have pretty much learned all the valid 2-letter words and most 3-letter words (as included in the official Scrabble Dictionary or Word Lists...). There are loads of words with a high rpoportion of vowels or with a Q not followed by U, when you know what to look for.

I'm even considering going to a one-day tournament soon, might look for more that are on Saturdays Smile

Not a walking dictionary (that involves also knowing what all the words mean Smile ), but when I find a new interest I also develop a new obsession Smile

I was brought up on a diet of Scrabble and Bridge (can't remember much Bridge though cos not many people I ahve known were into the game).

Scrabble was the game we played growing up. With both my parents and grandparents and now, with my own children.
It's nice playing the game with the board (deluxe version) on the table.... you can't use spell check. Very Happy
