I'm prety sure the amount does not depend on the content.
Just the value/importance/uniqueness of the name.
my wepwawet.de is 52 (almost nothing there), i4004.de is 13.000 (nothing there).

access to the clicks or traffic
of the websites.... maybe they
have some blinking ass robots
running around?

LOL, they got mine as worth $10 as well, but www.urlappraisal.net has it as almost doubling since I last checked (Dec 28, value $4,731.64), and it is now worth $9080 on there
