Software for QDF/SSPEC Identification (HWiNFO32)

Hi guys,

just wanted to promote (my free software) HWiNFO32 here since I have added a possibility that allows to display the QDF/SSPEC for Intel CPUs (from P6 to Auburndale). Of course it won't display the exact numbers, but at least possible values. It's based on a quite large database built using various Intel's resources and this great site.
Maybe you find it usefull. Let me know what you think, also if you have any suggestions, additions or find any bugs..

That's an awesome app, but how does any of the given info relate to your claim that you can give an idea of the sSpec/QDF? Not saying it's not good, but all I can see is how it gives the CPUID and any other info that the CPU will freely give you.

I don't understand, didn't HWiNFO32 report a SSPEC/QDF for your CPU? If you have an Intel P6 or above, then it's a bug, so please send me a report file and I'll look to fix it. Also please run it in Debug Mode (Settings) and send me the HWiNFO32.DBG file it produces.

I don't know of any way how to directly detect SSPEC/QDF from CPU. I don't say it's 100% not possible, but at least it's not documented nor available even for NDA (Orange level) partners.
The only way I know of is for Xeon MP's where this is stored in the P.I.ROM.
So all I can do is to build a large database containing various parameters for CPUs (CPUID values, Platform ID, Cache parameters, features, freq. operating points, voltage levels etc) and based on retrieved data - find a match in my database.
