Rockwell & Zilog sets

I found these chipsets in a large RACAL DATACOM Modem.
Are these chip-sets?
If so what are these same-brand sets of chips called?
Notice how similar the Rockwell and Zilog trademark logos are!!
Did they merge?

the zilogs yes is all most complete z80 chip set!

Yes, the 10464, R5310 and R5311 is Rockwell V22.bis (2400 baud) modem chipset.
