Hallo
I refined website for auctions. It is quite DONE.
Please try some features.
You can sell objects or offer on those in list; it will be ONLY FOR TEST and not effective, you can't buy or sell anything
What is done:
- Security is at 80-90%
- Languages available with properties file: Italian, English, Deutch and Francais (but I'm not a so good translator).. if you want to help me in corrections I'll be glad to receive all hands.
- Selling-Auction-Bidding section seems ok. Please try it.
- Personal profile ok; added language, you can change password but it is still stored both in plain text and encrypted.
What still needs efforts:
Paginator (index will be a too long page if many items are on)
Winning section and page (you receive email-confirmation, but web-pages still do not exist).
Messages pages (nothing exists now).
Translations
Logout.
F5 key protection.
Some of you are still registered (with your old pwd and info). Ask me if you want to be deleted from db.
Ciao
__Michele |

The website looks really nice, Michefe!
Will it be part of CPU-World forum and when will it be officially open? |

Thank you. Now thw website is integrated into my own website, but the auctions are a separated section with its own directory, css and database. I think it could be built on every website with a few reviews.
I don't know when I can open it. I have to complete the missing pages and features and I don't know I much free time I can count on.

mmm. I'll never buy it for less than 1mln
Yes. That darkblue is the bg of whole my website. I like it, but I agree it doesn't help reading.
I'll try to modify it (or let choose, at least). |

Also, you might want to add some captchas (Those things which stop Bots from signing up) and maybe a link for some references- People can officially add their CPU-World and etc websites usernames, so authenticity can be checked... I dont want to have some phoneys selling nonexistant goods to unsuspecting buyers!
Maybe we need to make it invitiation only? Invitiations sent through forums (any forum) or by valid non-freebie email? |

LOL a bid OVER 999,999.99E makes the next bid $1!!
Watch me mess up the system! (not for real, just example)

LOL Worse that I thought. I cant even log in to make a 1,000,000E bid.

I don't know if I can post links, but this
http://marketplace.vintage-computer.com/
is a site dedicated at electronic auctions
I bought only one time here, with satisfaction
isn't clear if for sale you must pay fees or not .....
but can be a very good auctions marketplace for the users here (note, only for auctions) |

There are no fees to buy or sell on that site, I have been looking there for quit a few months now, I havent seen anything that I wanted yet , but it looks good and easy to use. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |
