I'm working on figuring out production years and speeds for the Media GX, as well as die revisions etc.

I need:
Brand:
Package: PGA/BGA
Markings on Front:
Markings on Back:

Just post this info and I'll work up a page on these.

I found the revisions and clock registers in the datasheet
I just need to match them to your chips Smile

The one with "GGDC6747A" is copyright Cyrix USA. Others don't have any country name.

very nice
that has answered some more questions.
http://www.cpushack.net/MediaGX.html

IBM doesnt go in order for die revisions (go figure)
They use B for preliminary silicon.

National also was using an old mask at their test lab (with TSMC) in Maine.
Odd but interesting.

Keep the info coming.

Does anyone have a 150Mhz or 166 MHz GX?
Note I can also use Geode Data.
