Actually, it was yet possible to register some times ago, but now I have fixed almost all bugs, I think I can officially announce that it is open now.

Go there : http://www.x86-guide.net/en/register.html

The basic purpose is to allow any collector to manage and share his collection online, without having to make any html page, php, databases or everything complicated. You just have to fill in basic infos in some forms to enter every cpu in your collection.

* First, you can enter everything you buy, you trade or you grab.
It is not mandatory, but it is the best way to know what you have to pay, what you are waiting for, and to know if you do not want to sell a cpu for far less than what you bought it for...

* Then, you can enter, of course, all cpus in your collection

For every sub-types of cpus, it will tell you what is missing in your collection (according to database).

* Then, you can sell or trade on-line your cpus.

* You can make a trade-list :

* Tools
I also made special tools to make listings for forums (for trade or sale) or make a page for ebay sales.

(It is what I used for following thread : http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11500 )

* Requests
If any cpu you want to add in you collection or in your sales, you can make a request and I will add it.

* Themes
An last but not least, you can customize your own interface. Not only for you, but for every visitors. You can chose the name you want for your site, choose what will appear in left side menu and chose among 3 different themes. I will make other themes I think, and maybe let people make their own themes in the future.

Interface is fully in french and in english, but can be translated in any latin langage if any nice user would like to do it...

I hope it will interest some of you and I will be glad to host some big collections !

For those who just registered, please wait some minutes for your sub-domain http://collector_name.x86-guide.com to be created. You can use www.x86-guide address once logged in until it will be created.

Is there a way to look at any added collections without registering?

Yes, once anything has been added by any other collector than me.
Which seems to be now the case => see there http://www.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html
(Stratmaster has added one cpu).

I need to change http://www.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html main content, but I'm still thinking about informations to write on it.

Well Done Very Happy

Question?
Is there or will there be a link to what collections are able to be viewed?

In the early stages of building the list... is it visible or do you have to complete your colllection list first?

thx

Once your registration is confirmed, you can be seen on main site.
Anything entered is visible.

Have a look here : http://www.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html

I figured out why certainly most of people who submitted registration didn't finish registering yet.
There was a bug with IE (actually this not a bug, this a "normal" IE beahviour) which prevent the confirmation page to be submitted ...
It is now fixed.
Thanks Chook for letting me know the problem.
