apart from the white C8207-5 i picked up, i was wondering what is the newest white intel (any package) that someone had in their collection?

My C8207-5 was made 1983 week 16 ( i presume the die date is 83 week 11?)

side note >> does this confirm that "V" stands for another manufacturing plant in Malaysia.

yah looks right, really the dates can vary though.

The dies come from Intel
The packages come from another company (Such as NGK)
They are assembled at an Intel facility, or at a contractor facility

Package providers can change things, without there being a meaningful change in markings.

I've got a couple of eng. samples ones with no cap in place. I think they are gate arrays. I'll take a picture of them later.

nice, white CLCCs are really not common.
I've never seen any white chip from Intel that was not a Dual Inline Package.
No idea what's my newest but I am sure this one is newer than mine.
