I was at a military vehicle show and swap meet today with my kid and came across this computer that was for sale for $5, so i grabbed it and took a look at it. Its a control unit for artillary fire power. Pretty hard to believe that in 1994 we were using this to control range and distances for artillary shells with this. Pretty cool low power 486 at the heart of it all tho Very Happy

The Cpu is probly still good but i dont think the computer works as a whole anymore, it looks like they stripped out some of the parts, like the hard drive and some other cards, I did try to power it up , but it only has an old battery in it and i have no power cord, plus it says it runs on 32 volt power, whatever that may be, i dont know.

Its a deal John, but you have to pay shipping , which is going to be about $75 since this thing weighs like 45 pounds. Shocked
I am not too sure where they got the lightweight part of the name from because it weighs more than my desktop box does. Very Happy

Well, I posted this in jest, thinking you you would never consider trading this Military computer. Surprised
It's an amazing find for $5, but shipping it at $75 is expensive. Shocked
