Don't worry about it, just leave the negative feedback. State the facts and do not call names - this will reduce chances of getting the negative feedback in return.

you could leave neutral feedback with your complaints.. its also possible for a buyer and seller to mutually withdraw negative feedback if they dont want a 'mark' on their record
whats the problem you're having? ive got a friend who works in ebays fraud dept.. maybe he could shut the seller down for you
ps: you should all make sure all your contact info (especially phone numbers) is up to date on ebay.. invalid contact info is apparently one of the easiest reasons to get your account suspended. |

Let the seller know that negative feedback is coming if they do not resolve the issue. If they do not resolve then leave negative feedback. Negative feedback is much worse for a seller than a buyer. Either a buyer or a seller can just start over with a new Ebay ID, but a new seller gets lower prices for what they sell compared to an established seller. Reputation is much more important for a seller. A new buyer is at almost no disadvantage to an established buyer when it comes to buying.
I buy and sell under the same ID because I buy much more than I sell. I may change this because I am starting to sell more. I know that many serious ebay sellers buy under a seperate ebay ID. This way they can leave negative feedback when they are a buyer if they need to. Any retalitory feedback in that transaction would then go to their seperate buyer ID and not bring down their seller ID feedback.

Here's a good tip. Act like you're satisfied with the product, and get him to leave you a positive feedback. Then after he does, threaten with a negative to resolve your issue
I did this with a seller that had those "Get anything you want" lists, where they email you the information and supposedly you can get any product you want for free, after pay $5 for the auction. Well, I did that. He left me a positive after I acted like things went smoothly. Then I threatened if he did not refund my money, I would leave a negative feedback. He refunded, and I left a +. I shouldn't have left anything though. |

Usually if a seller receives 3 strikes for non selling seller their accounts will be suspended indefinately, and this applies to buyers too. Best bet is to hope he already has 2 strikes, then leave a negative to top it off
If the sellers account is suspended, it should say, under the negative feedback he left for you, that he is no longer a regisered user. This would ease off some of the worries of the interested pre-bidder. |

I don't think eBay will respond to you regarding your complaint. I filed some complaints in the past (but not about non-sellinhg seller), and I never received any response from eBay except the automated "we received your complaint" reply.

I also thought eBay doesn't allow multiple ids, I guess they changed it.

Ahh now I know. You guys don't have power seller accounts =P
If you get a power seller account, you get a customer service phone number and an email you can use in which an ebay rep. will respond within the half hour.

| No doubt. But if you want any customer service for a problem that can't wait, just sign up for the power seller program and there you have it, you're a power seller for 3 months. Bronze makes a total of, I think, 1-2,000 every three months, silver makes $5000, gold makes $25,000, and a Titanium makes $100,000 every three months!!!!!!! =(!!! |

Take a look at a "NEW" product I won on eBay...

Now already I have contacted the seller who flatly refused payment, and therefore reported the matter to PayPal and eBay for seller fraud, copyright theft, and breach of the listing terms and conditions. Furthermore, having also reported this seller to the copyright owners (developers of the software that he is pirating and selling on eBay), they too have complained to eBay about fraudulent listings.
What is eBay's response to all of this...
NOTHING! Look at the second fraudulent listing - nothing pulled or suspended, and he just goes on selling pirated software to any poor schmuck that wanders along.
What is eBay's buyer and seller philosophy. Wait until a complaint is launched and only dutifully act if you're a power seller???

I guess whatever you did (contacting eBay, PayPal, etc) worked - the second listing is no longer on eBay.
