I won this auktion on E-Bay
250458747146
Did i By a 25 or a 33 MHz i486DX CPU
The auktion-text says 33 the picture is of a 25 MHz
OK the winning bid was quite low, so i wil not make any fuss

Seller made mistake but DX 25 is much more rare than 33 so in the end you made good deal _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

NO because he send me a 33 MHz, ( one without the "DX" logo, thou)
and i had the that one. The price was low, so it's OK
But if anyone has a spare i486DX-25 i am in for a deal |

The seller should give you a refund, since he made a confusing mistake with his listing.
Use the money to buy the next i486DX-25 you find! _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

Thanks. It looks a bit silly when the 25'er is missing in the line of i486's. And you have helped me before with a Cyrix CX486S-33.

I had the same problem when I bought a PODP5V63 and got and 83. The auction said it was a 63, but the actual chip was an 83. The photo did not show the speed. I negotiated a partial refund with the seller and kept the chip. _________________ General failure reading disk in drive A
