did you find the stupid 8080 set auction ?
once it was sold for $172, but now it is $2000 bin Shocked
very stupid!

Yea , the difference is that the first set was not as nice as the one for sale now, the 8080 in the first set did not have CS stamped on it as well as all the rest of the chips, Thhe second set has CS on every chip in it. I sent him an offer of $325 for it and his reply was that he has an offer for more already.

He did say that all have "CS" marking for the first set.

I dont see any CS on this 8080.

He also stated in that auction this

some chips have markings hard to read or missing altogether)

That's true. But still a good price... even if they aren't CS. Most times, a picture speaks a thousand words.
