Athlon XP 2600+, stepping code question.

I have an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (ADXA2600DKV3D - Thoroughbred core, model that states a stepping code of AIXJB. However, I can find no information that this was a stepping code for this processor. I can find it for Athlon XP processors with the "DKV3C" designation (266FSB), but not the "DKV3D"designation (333FSB).

I suppose it's not really crucial as the processor still runs great, but I'm curious. Have I missed something in my searches?

Thanks for the reply Neon, and sorry about the typo in the processor designation (LOL). That's the same page I went to originally in an effort to locate the stepping code for this processor.

The link you provided for the AXDA2600DKV3D only shows 5 stepping codes indicated for the AXDFA2600DKV3D processor and none of those shown are AIXJB.

As I said, I can find that code but it is for a 266FSB 2400+, and not for the 2600+ Barton (333FSB). I'm just curious as to this stepping code. Is it possibly an undocumented code for that processor?

The stepping codes listed on this site do not necessarily constitute a comprehensive list.

AIXJB is in the big list of K7 stepping codes, it just isn't included on the AXDA2600DKV3D page. You could leave a comment on that page to include AIXJB - it should get updated eventually.
