How about some pictures from your recent holiday or vacation?

We couldn't get away this summer, but we have this beach almost at our doorstep in our town, so it isn't all bad...
This is a pic of the Wilmette Sailing beach, which is next to the regular beach.
I took this on a perfect summer day in late July.

ok, i must admit that second image is a 30 degree rotation fake, lol.

But still Sophia is a sporty miracle to me:-)

I had to put the stop on her so many times...

I watched the Youghiogheny River flow past in Swallow Falls state park, Maryland. Nice refreshing water and old shady hemlock trees.
