s1g1 in a s1g2 motherboard

i was wondering i have a compaq cq60-419wm and have already upgraded my cpu to a rm-70 processor.. i was wondering i have a 2.2 ghz tl-64 sitting around if it would work in my s1g2 board?? so far no one can reall tell me for sure but they all say probably not.. of course i cant get any reply from amd.. well if anyone can help me here it would be greatly appreciated... thanks alot..
