Northwood to Prescott Upgrade??

In general, is it possible to upgrade, using the same ASUS P4SD-LA mobo, the current P4 2.4GHz Northwood to a P4 3.0GHz Prescott?

ps I've checked ASUS and CPU-World and the P4SD-LA is not listed.

in a quick look on the HP site.. it will only take a Northwood processor

but in the manual.. it says a 512kB Prescott Confused
