Although there are others in my recollection every time I rethink, the favorite one of those I always think of right away is a part of a computer not a whole computer. The tape drive (and what the players do with it!) from "Sleeper", made 1972? distributed 1973?, story by Marshall Brickman and cast (Woody Allen to mention). There`s also a cartoon where a Queen determines that a grasshopper is really a grasshopper not a gemstone with an analog computer with light filters, specific gravity of vibration devices, and more.
