Of course there is no flash! You cannot flash in macro modus. Use a stativ and you can take a picture for a some seconds...

I use flash because my lighting is not good. I usually use two lights - one ambient and one spot light, but they are too weak.

I think that the suffix G should be correct because the chip is not plastic. Think

Yes, it does look like it's ceramic. Can you take a picture from the side?
