I think a price between 20 and 30 Euro for
it is reasonable. _________________ Ordem e Progresso

No it wasn't my auction - my eBay name is similar to my forum name here.
I have a list with full and "obfuscated" IDs of some CPU collectors. |

I didnt Want every one getting pissed at me for showing thier Ids on Ebay. However I can put it on a word document so You may also have it john. I just havent gotten around to taking it from my little notebook and coverting it to somthing digital. But I can say that I know who was the second highest bidder in that auction. I dont have the winner in my list yet. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

That don't have to be a scecret for anyone in this Forum, because the big fool that bid € 35 for the Chip was me, but out there somewhere must be a bigger fool than me
I am still interested in the Chip with the big Logo, so I will happyly pay you its value (20 - 25 $)

I think there is no certain price for one old chip since they will not be produced like the new ICs, so if you like it, just buy it at your accepted cost or maybe at any cost if you really want it. Perhaps it is the last one in the world, right?
So go on! _________________ **********************

| I agree, it all depends on what it is worth to you. There are a few IBM chips that I would pay well over market value for. Just depends... |

I think, nobody said that someone is fool. I just wondered about ending price. Maybe I´m big fool, because I wanted this IDT chip (just because this one is missing in my collection) and I thought the price is about 6-8 € .
about identity of buyers:
I our local auction server aren´t identities hidden and I don´t see anything wrong. IMO - on Ebay are bidders hidden approx. last year (not so long).
This discussion is a bit off topic now (but interesting )
btw. I think, that chips on german ebay are at the end a bit overpriced (good for sellers, not for me ) |

I am not sying anything about the price of the chip and weather or not its a good price, Thats none of my business to say
I have paid my share of overpriced chips just because I wanted them.
And it is not a hobby of mine to collect IDs from ebay, I just have found them useful in contacting others from the forum and Making deals before an auction closes so we dont end up beating each other up when there are more than one chip involved in the auctions. Its a Buying tool of mine, not a stalking tool. I also do not know what you mean by flashing others Ids in ebay? _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Is that not when you look at their ID and open your raincoat to it? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
