Al Gore owns a company that sells carbon credits, so yes, he has a big conflict of interest.

Just ignoring this fact and have a happy life?
Great idea....

No, but realize that many natural effects have some zeros more, realize that man is just a scratch on this planet, realize that eg. tsunamis and earthquakes are not done by man and happen though.

We can die like dinosaurs and noone will care.

some of the important things in my life are ..

(in no particular order)

How many nixie clocks can I make.
How many tyres I wear through on my mountain bike.
Ice cold Guinness
Spending time with Mrs JAC Very Happy

Worrying about dying does not feature. If I can do something to avoid identified hazards, some things like not driving too fast, smoking or drinking too much then I will do it. Worrying about unidentified hazards, bullshit on the internet and just plain BAD SCIENCE, does not take up my time. Maybe we all need to see death to understand life.

Yahahaaa! This is the most important point!
To fulfill the biological onus of live: reproduction.
Maybe it is the sole true meaning of life?

Ok the question is now if he has this company for money,
to save our planet or both....
