Some Cyrix 486s come with IBM part numbers marked on the bottom.

Checking thru my collection I realised that one of my Cyrix is probably a remarked IBM 486.. not just a Cyrix 486 with IBM part number Shocked

See if you can work out which is the processor with the top remarked Very Happy

i bought it off u mate Wink
the print on top didnt look right... but didnt ring any alarm bells

It was when i was collating the production markings (for Cyrix, IBM & ST chips) for CPUShack's database, I realised that it didnt have a Cyrix production code (eg G3KS525P on the 66) Shocked

LOL, really?! if so, sorry for it. I did not notice too much when I sold the chip, and only took the picture and list it. In fact, it is only relatively easy to see the difference when putting the above two chips together. IMO, the printing on the top is really all right, isnt it? Smile
If you do not like it, send it to chook and ask him combine shipping to me, and I will send it to a good friend who collect it Smile

Not a problem mate Very Happy
The hard part is determining what it has been remarked from Confused
Once the IBM listing has more info, i can probably work that out, but it looks like it as actually a 66MHz IBM

On a side note.. the IBM list has made me suspect that the 80MHz IBM Blue lightning I also bought off you has been remark from a 66, due to the numbering on the bottom. Shocked
In every other aspect, it looks perfect.. just a pity IBM makes it hard with their production codes Confused
Again.. its ok mate Very Happy
