Hello!

I got some IBM PowerPC cpus in BGA package here. The part numbers of them are:

PPC750CXEFP55-3 - and - PPC750CXEFP5512

Does anyone know, what kind of PowerPC 750CXe cpus (speed, bus frequency, cache) these are?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards, Xaar.

256k of L2 cache 133MHz bus 533MHz

the difference in those 2 parts is in testing parameters

5512= Grade 2
55-3 = Grade 3

Thank You very much Smile

Is there any other difference between these two PPC750CXe? I ask, because the 55-3 has an other Copyright ( (C) IBM 2000 (M) ) than the 5512 ( (C) IBM 2001 (M) ).

Best regards, Xaar.

none but post the production code, and we can date when they were made.

Well, the 55-3 was made in week 12 2001 (production code is B12W062U) and the 5512 were made in week 20 2001 (production code B200662U).

Regards, Xaar.

cool from the 55-3 to the 5512 IBM was likely granted a copyright on some design feature, so updated the marking.
