dx2 ES?

ive also found a pentium 75 and a pentium 100 that say ES on them as well..

these ARE engineering samples right?



i cant believe i had 3 engineering samples and i didnt even know about it Razz

They are not Engineering Samples.
This ES is just a reference (for what ?, I don't know)
Some times you have EE, ET, EI, GR, ...etc.
It is the same.

it would say ES on the front, not just the back

yea, none of these say ES on the front.

I have like 30 pentium 1's with ES on the back but with an S-Spec, I was so disappointed, but relieved because I wouldn't have known what to do with them all if they were to be ES Smile

About Intel chips, it's quite simple : S-Spec means commercial CPU, Q-Spec means sample.
