It is called a "secondary bow".

We dont speak english here in the U.S., thats only in England

Hi guys:
Don't even bother to compete with me about rainbows - we have a rainbow on our license plates. In fact, here in Hawaii the only rainbows that count are those that span a full 180 degrees circle and have a secondary as well LOL. Here are two of the real good ones:

Ahhh so I see the old pot of gold at the end of a rainbow is not true, theres an airport at the end of rainbows  Verrry cool, must be nice to see so often.

That's right. I took that photo (two actually, stitched together) in the hills of Perth, looking east.

Unfortunately I had only a phone camera avaiable when this double rainbow was almost in full.

Nice nice nice pictures there guys..
... yeah there was a second rainbow in my picture, not as clear as the main one. I couldnt pull over again to take more pictures, the picture I took didnt show it as it really looked while driving along. It's not the sort of thing seen here every day ( even taking into account how often it rains in England ). |
