6000 lucky people got to have breakfast on our Sydney harbour bridge this morning. They closed the bridge, laid real grass on the bridge and were even milking some cows on the grass....very cool...(no I wasn't there ) |

Ahhh... a bit of fun and part of Sydney's good food month. Basically in October there are lots of food (and drink) events happening. Just a chance to eat, drink and be merry. And beats the hell out of worrying about the woes of the world...lol _________________ My former Intel collection:

I think bungie jumping after breakfast should have been mandatory... |

Very interesting!
Btw, The harbour bridge is very nice!
what is the function of it, for car or train?
is it finishing? I notice that there is no road at the distant side. _________________ **********************

It is for both cars and trains - 8 lanes for cars, two train tracks. The bridge curves so you can't see the road joining on the other side, but was opened in 1932 (took 6 years to build). Along with our opera house, it is one of the two Sydney icons - and you can do a walk right up to the very top of it.

And I saw that you can walk across the top arches of it too, That must be some view from up there out into the harbor. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Oh, if you show this photo, it is clear
I think opera house could be more Sydney icon(Australia icon ) than the bridge for foreigners _________________ **********************

yeah the bridge climb is hugely popular, especially with visitors. You can even go up at night and if you're lucky you go when the sun is just setting |
