I hate the fact that a person can come in and just advert in our FS forums, but if not there, then they'd do it in our normal areas.
I say let them post, and just delete it. Make a rule "No posting in FS sections without X posts" or something. Just delete them as soon as they go up!

Well as of now the survey would agree with you and I on a 2 to 1 ratio almost, and most of the just screw it votes have come in the last day or two. But none the less its really up to THE BOSS. This poll was mostly just to see if anyone else felt the same way I do about it. Which is that if you havent contributed to the forum in any way shape or form than why do you deserve to just waltz in and ask for our money. On the other hand I, like the rest of you, want people to come in here and bring some interesting chips with them. So I would guess thats where the dilemma is.
And WTF are those guys fishing for in that mudpuddle LOL _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

How about waiting until/if we start getting problems with people dropping in to sell and not sending the goods etc..?
I still dont see it as a problem, but I understand your position. I purchased my fair share of stuff from people with little posts.
All you will end up doing if you set a limit is:
1- stop people from selling
2- having lots of pointless posts to get the post count up until you can start selling. It didnt work on ebay ( getting some feedback ) and it wont work here.
3- create more and more rules... |

Honestly, I just dont like seeing that 1 SPAM per month or so, the user selling Ipods, Iphones, etc etc.
Come to think of it, I dont even know if that's a problem or not. |

Wuaho's example says all rules can be break. Nothing will help in this case so I voted for last option too. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
