I have five of them in the original box in storage. I would really hate to part with them but at $5000 a piece I will come to live with it
I really do have five of them!

to be serious, what is really the most rare math co-cpu?
can it be a 80187?
I have an offer for an Intel D80C187-12 for 150 Euro and I think it is really rare but 150 Euro???

Most expensive FPU would be MME U80613. _________________ Frank. |

i own a IIT 80287 2C87-6. It must be rare because i don't know any other collector who also owns one.
btw: D80C187-12 is possible to buy from a german recycling company for about 60 Euro (also not cheap, but better than 150 Euro). But they have only one chip in stock _________________ best regards borris

I would say iAPX 432 introduced in 1981 (if there are any samples around at all).

Well...it does have the "original cellefane" on the box after all. Quality comes at a price.

I have one, except it is a 2C87-10, not "-6". I traded for it from jrmunro, so he probably has one too. Maybe he has more?
