Has anyone seen these before?
I just got these two from a guy in China and I am in the process of getting three more different versions of this chip.

I just went back all the way to the first posting on this forum and I didn't see anything about these fake Chinese chips? Are you guys getting together somewhere I don't know about
They could be fake as I have never seen anything like them and if they are I would appreciate someones professional opinion as I already posted them on my site I have also already traded away a C8008 and C8008-1 for the two I got and have already sent a C8080A for the other three.
The guy I got them from found me through this forum, so if they are fake I will be sharing his email address

theres a couple others i cant find, one had better pics than that
tillamook was a mobile pentium 1, wasnt it? so someone probably took one of those, and put it in a pga adapter, and put that gold top on it for whatever reason. |

I guess I have some nice fake CPUs! So you all know, I got them from tianchao AT pub.nt.jsinfo.net (modified for the email bots) I don't think he meant to rip me off but I would have liked to have known that Intel didn't make them...

Use the email I listed in my last comment . The guy contacted me a little over two weeks ago and seems to be looking for a lot of different chips and has several more.
They are kind of neat looking and I will probably just hold onto the ones I got and list them on my website as Chinese made Intel chips (Not made by Intel) since I already have two and have three more coming.
Thanks you all for the info

I was contacted by same the same guy several weeks ago. He wanted to trade for my C8008. I did not trade after I asked here in the forum about the chips he was offering. He was aware that the chips are not genuine Intel, but did not volunteer that info until I directly brought it up.
All that aside, they are nice looking and I think there is some value to them as a piece of history demonstrating the faking of CPU's. Among coin collectors there are people who specifically collect counterfiet coins and currency. I would have been interested in a trade for something less than my C8008 had he been willing.

I agree with Minuteman. If we start to buy fakes we will create a demand for this.
