As EPROM capacities increased to insatiable demand for more storage, die sizes increased rapidly as process shrinks could not keep pace.
Here are the results:

Heh 16 meg is pushing it... 
But there was Flash to save the day!
Just imagine if flash memory was never invented. Would make for some interesting USB memory sticks |

It's really a 32 MBit EPROM (2M x 16). I found a datasheet of that M27C322:

No Chiefish is correct, it is a 4Mbit EPROM 256kx16

Oh, I mixed it. I thought he ment your M27C322 EPROM 
His one is, of course, a 4 MBit EPROM.

Anyone know any of the part numbers for the 64m eproms, I would mind trying to hunt a couple down.

CPUShack & me would be happy to find some also
The only possible manufacturer was ST Micro.. there part number was M27C642

As would most EPROM collectors among us I know I'd be happy to find one or more of the largest capacity
