Celeron Single core to pentuim dual core

I was wondering how much of a performance increase i would get in games with a cpu upgrade to a intel penitum dual core @ 2.0GHz games like CSS,COD4, Borderlands ect this is what i have now

Celeron 450 @2.2GHz single core
2 gigs RAM
nvidia 9500GT

there the same socket # and my MB supports it how much better is the dual core over the celeron

You'll notice a very nice bump in performance as most games/software fully utilise 2 cores.

But I would definitely upgrade the 9500GT. That thing is horrible, these days you can pick up a 4850 for like US$120.
