Thanks for the update! It will be interesting to see how this project goes.
On a side note - I just finished testing a CPU yesterday, lifted it out of the socket, and it left a pin in the socket. Rrrrrrrrrr...
So after the pin was cleared and CPU reseated, it still works, despite missing a pin. Sometimes you get lucky. |

So is that an example of RAIP? Yay for redundancy and fault tolerance!
I think I'll start a new thread from scratch for this when I'm ready to take a next step in the project. I almost bought a cheap 30W iron last night, but lassoed the impulse. |
