Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share with hint how to make PayPal payment with lower fees to everyone who don't know about it. I paid only 0,10 USD fees from sending 10,00 bucks to CPUShack why ? Because I had funds on account and covered fees as sender.

I hope it will help you to save some money on PP transactions Wink

Can you give more details about how this works? Thanks. Smile

I don't know exactly how they named these functions in english but you should find them :
1) Send funds
2) After entering recipient's email adress switch "purchase" to "relatives/friends"
3) choose "upkeep"
4) that's all. Now you will be informed about fees which you cover - recipient gets full ammount of payment

As PayPal belongs to eBay there must be a catch in something - maybe no buyer's protection ? You must read regulations on PP page before sending payment to untrusted person Wink

I sent a couple of payments recently. There was no such function available on PP Germany.

Apparently PayPal doesn't allow the people from Germany to have friends.
Or you can have them only after 1000+ positive eBay feedbacks ... Very Happy

Yeah this is great until you have a problem.

If the bitch doesnt send you your stuff then you cant file a complaint in paypal for items not received.

Do not, ever, pay for items on ebay this way.

This is great information for transactions between known collectors/friends! I do alot of purchasing for international collectors and always feel bad about the Paypal fees incured.

Great information, thanks!!!!

I found that I can send 24.4 Eur with no charges at either end by sending it as a friend. Might start doing that for all large payments now I know it worksk for a relatively small amount Smile
