I decided to start a thread for manufacturers of eproms i or anyone else havent come across before Very Happy

First cab off the rank is S-MOS Systems
unknown when started (circa 1982 most likely)
partially owned affiliate of Seiko Epson
then fully acquired by Seiko Epson in 1997
operating now as Epson Electronics America Inc

notable info.. S-MOS Systems developed the first commercially available single chip 3D geometry accelerator (SPC1500) for PCs.

here is a pic of one of their eproms showing the logo Very Happy

This one is easy to work out who made it Laughing

But i dont beleive many would think of RICOH for eproms.

RICOH claim on their website that they

I know CPUShack has a RICOH RD27C32.. has anyone else come across other RICOH parts Very Happy

Electronic Arrays shows up from time to time, but still kinda cool

(They also made some CPUs)

Obscurest 'manufacturer' I could find is SEG.
This Eprom was obviously made by Fujitsu...

yes the top one looks like Signetics Surprised

the bottom one is a Thomson-CSF part number.. but the logo isnt..
The Thomson-CSF logo looks like the Star Trek emblem Laughing

but i have seen the logo b4.. so will find it tomorrow Smile

Heres one by Maxtor, only one ive ever seen so far. I guess they might have used them in the old hard drives. Print is on bottom saying Maxtor and also on the core when I looked under microscope.
