Hi,

I am using Gigabyte GA-945GZM-S2 rev.6.6 Motherboard....

I visited Gigabyte Website and read that my motherboard doesn`t support CPU Core Duo E5300 2.6Ghz 2MB 800MHz, but I think it does....

What`s the true answer ?

TIA ! Very Happy

If you don't believe the manufacturer - there is only one way to find out if the CPU is compatible.
Just install it and turn on the computer. Very Happy

As you certainly can understand we don't have more information than the motherboard manufacturer does!
Perhaps you should ask this question on the Gigabyte product forum.

It's unlikely that the motherboard supports the E5300, as it doesn't support any 0.045 micron processors.
