After long last I got this unusual chip.
Slot-A Athlons with old logo and "7th GENERATION PROCESSOR" markings are believed to be qualification samples.
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/TYPE-Athlon%20(Slot%20A).html
The 500 and 550 versions of the K7 Athlon appear from time to time, but this is the first K7 - 600 QS I've ever seen!
Does anybody have such a chip in his/her collection? |

Very nice find!
I have a AMD-K7850MPR52BA with a different logo that is actually marked as an Engineering Sample. |

In my opinion the ES Slot Athlons are rarer than the QS ones.
Currently I have a 500, 550, 600 QSs and only one ES - a 750 MHz version. |
